Former Ballerina with The Royal Ballet Company

Gillian Revie is proud to introduce a carefully constructed fulltime ballet programme, offering a holistic approach to nurture the “thinking dancer”.

In addition to outstanding ballet tuition, we offer modules in portfolio preparation, performance psychology, dance health and theatre design. This unique and broadminded approach encourages students to delve into all aspects of dance related subjects and offers them valuable tools for self-development.

Our aim is to develop intelligent, open minded, healthy and beautiful artists, and to inspire them to become not only great ballet dancers, but perhaps the dance photographers, psychologists, critics, or choreographers of the future.

Gillian Revie

Gillian’s extensive training was received at the Royal Ballet School and a 21 year career in the Royal Ballet Company provided her with an in depth knowledge of this complex physical art form. The teacher training acquired through The Royal Ballet School Teacher Training Course and the mentoring received during her first two years of teaching at the English National Ballet School inspired Gillian to devote her life to helping young dancers achieve their dreams.

Since moving to Australia, Gillian established her business to provide talented dancers the opportunity to work one to one with her. Many of her students have been accepted into full time schools such as The Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School and Dutch National and summer schools at Paris Opera and American Ballet Theatre. Gillian has coached winners in the Isobel Anderson Awards, finalists in the Alana Haines and had successful candidates for The Youth America Grand Prix and The Genee International Ballet Competitions.

Classical Ballet 121 is now developing into exciting new phase and will give many more talented dancers the chance to learn from Gillian on a daily basis and to experience a wealth of knowledge from her highly dedicated team.
