FAQ
What does the online program look like?
Each day starts with Yoga or Pilates, then ballet class followed by pointe class or fitness. We are also continuing with RAD training, Spanish, Character, Contemporary, anatomy class, Dancelete and guest workshops. Contact us for the weekly timetable.
How do I connect to class?
You will need to download the Zoom app onto your device. Once you have worked out your program in conjunction with us, be it full time or casual, we will send you the links for the classes you are enrolled in.
Do I need to organise an audition?
You will not need to audition, however we require each student to be at Advanced 1 level and either currently in full time training or planning to be. Please note that enrolling in the online dance education program does not give you a place in the CB121 program. You may audition for our program once we are operating back in the studio.
Do I need to wear a uniform?
No, however we ask you wear leotards and tights with no skirts, shorts or leggings. Please also have tidy hair.
Can I get feedback after class?
Yes teachers will provide feedback throughout the class and after class by request.
Are private lessons available via Zoom?
Yes, please contact us.
How do I enrol and what are the fees?
Please contact Gilly to discuss your requirements regarding online training and discuss our fee options.
How do I audition for the CB121 program?
Face to Face, Private online auditions and trial days are all currently available. Please contact us for additional information on booking and cost.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes, at the discretion of the Director. Please advise if you wish to be considered.
Can I audition during holiday classes?
Yes you may but please advise us of your interest in auditioning.
What do I need to wear and also bring to an audition?
• Black or navy spaghetti strap leotard and pink tights
• Flats and pointe shoes
• Leggings or shorts for Contemporary
• Something warm to wear during the breaks
• Water bottle
• Snacks
How long will the audition be?
• 1 hour 30 minutes Ballet Class
• 30 minutes Pointe
• 1 hour Contemporary
When will I receive feedback?
If you attend a trial day then Gilly will provide feedback to your parents that evening or within a few days. For the audition and scholarship class then this process will take a little longer and all students will be informed within a week.
Do I need to audition for the Junior Program?
No, however we do advise you to come for a free trial before you sign up.

What are the fees and how do I make payment?
Please contact our Business Manager, Tricia Pytches, to discuss the fees appropriate for the program you wish to undertake. We offer payment plans to enable fees to be paid over the term subject to approval. Please note we currently do not accept credit card payments.
How does the Part Time Program work?
We design your bespoke weekly program to supplement your existing training. You attend classes with the full-time students at your appropriate level. All classes are available and you can take part in as many or as few as works within your schedule.
Who attends the Part Time Program?
Students wishing to supplement their existing training as a bridge to full time tuition, those who need to rehabilitate from injury, as a stop gap between school and employment, or in order to prepare for auditions.
What age can I start the Part Time Program?
13 is an appropriate age, however we will consider younger students who demonstrate they are physically and mentally ready.
How are private lessons incorporated into the program?
All full time students have weekly private coaching with Gilly. Our part time students may also arrange private coaching sessions which are subject to availability.
