Nicole is a Sports Physiotherapist with a special interest in Dance medicine. She completed her Masters of Health Science in Sports Physiotherapy under the guidance of Sue Mayes, the Principle Physiotherapist and Medical Manager of the Australian Ballet.
Nicole has been working with the Company’s world renowned medical term during their Sydney Seasons
She has spent the last 8 years using her knowledge on managing professional ballet dancers all the way to the grassroots- the adolescent dancers. She strives to maintain the longevity in a dance’s career through tailor-made injury prevention and management programs.
Nicole has been working in private practice for 20 years and has been the In-House Physiotherapist for the last 3 years at Classical Ballet 121 where she is instrumental in leading the Rehabilitation Team through communication with all the dance teachers, other health professionals whilst constructing individualised programs for each of the dancers. She has been teaching Anatomy at Classical Ballet 121 and enjoys empowering dancers with knowledge of their bodies and how to care for them.
